Cruden Group company Hart Builders has appointed experienced construction sector executive Martin Cooper as finance director.
The former Arthur Andersen chartered accountant was previously finance director at Galliford Try and Miller Construction.
His arrival follows the appointment in January of commercial director Andy MacLinden and is intended to strengthen Hart aim to expand its public and private sector work in the east of Scotland.
Hart managing director Andy Mallice said: “We are delighted to have Martin join the Hart Builders’ leadership board as he takes the helm of our finance team. Martin’s expertise makes him an excellent addition to our business as we plan to develop and expand the Group’s offering.”
Recent work by Hart includes the completion of 47 affordable homes for Hillcrest housing Association at Edmonstone in Edinburgh and 27 for Berwickshire Housing Association in Duns.
