Ever since he signed in the summer, West Ham fans have eagerly awaited the opportunity to play with Sebastien Haller in FIFA 20.
The Frenchman arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt for a club record fee of £45m and has immediately made an impact in east London.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals in his first three games for the Hammers and is already living up to the hype of his huge transfer fee.
And now Haller has been included among EA Sports’ “ones to watch” for the upcoming FIFA 20, earning a rating of 83 for the new release of the popular football video game.
The striker’s rating was revealed in a video released by EA Sports in which several players’ ratings were shown on screen for less than a second.
That gives him the same rating as Arsenal’s club record signing Nicolas Pepe as well as a better ranking than Atletico Madrid’s £113m summer signing Joao Felix, who has been given an overall rating of just 80 heading into the new season.
Haller’s shooting is an impressive 81 while he earns a handy 76 for dribbling.
But some Hammers aren’t thrilled with the specifics of his stats, with the Irons forward earning just a 72 rating for pace and an 82 rating for strength - down from a rating of 98 in FIFA 19 after the winter update left him as the strongest player in the game.
The Frenchman was one of the most effective strikers across Europe's top leagues last season, not only scoring 15 goals in 29 Bundesliga games but also setting up nine assists.
A goal involvement of 0.83 per game, either as a finisher or a creator, underlined his all-round abilities as a centre-forward and it is hoped he can fire the Irons into a challenge for European football in 2020.
