Industrialist Harsh Goenka is back with another jibe at Galgotias University, and this time the trigger is a slick new robot from Chinese robotics firm Unitree. Goenka took to X to share a video of Unitree's latest creation, a robot dog that combines wheels with legs, letting it zip across flat roads at speed while still being able to scale cliffs and power through rough, uneven terrain. In his post, the RPG Enterprises chairman described the machine as an "all-terrain" marvel capable of climbing rocky slopes, racing across difficult ground, and even doubling up as a travel companion for its owner.
But it was the punchline that got the internet's attention. Goenka sarcastically added that it wouldn't be long before Galgotia University showcased this very invention as a creation of its own, a clear callback to the embarrassment the institution faced earlier this year.
The Robodog Row That Wouldn't Die
For those who missed it, the reference goes back to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, where Galgotias University found itself at the centre of a full-blown controversy. A university professor introduced a four-legged robot named "Orion" to the media, describing it as a product developed in-house at the university's Centre of Excellence.
