Totteham midfielder Harry Winks has opened up on a number of topics ahead of the new Premier League season.
Spurs travel to Aston Villa on Saturday evening for their first match of the new campaign, with record signing Tanguy Ndombele set to make his official debut.
Winks was speaking in an interview on Sky Sports when he revealed how the £63million signing has settled in at the club since making the switch from Lyon last month.
And he admitted there was only one problem with the new boy - the language barrier.
"He has been fantastic. The lads are helping him settle in but he's still learning the language," Winks told Sky Sports. "That's a bit of a problem with the language barrier.
"But he's been great on the field and everyone has been looking forward to seeing what he can show this season.
"He's similar to how I play. He works hard for the team and he will be a great addition to the squad."
Spurs will be hoping Ndombele can fire them to glory after narrowly missing out on silverware last season.
Mauricio Pochettino's men competed for the league title until the turn of the year before falling away, while they also lost the Champions League final to Liverpool.
Winks, however, is backing his side to go 'one step further' this time around.
"Pre-season has been going really well. Everyone is confident with how we have been playing," Winks added.
"We head into the season trying to win every competition we're in. We want to go as far as we possibly can in all of them. Hopefully we can go one step further this season."
Winks added that he is also aiming to continue earning England call-ups, with the 23-year-old having featured three times for national team boss Gareth Southgate.
"I need to perform well for Tottenham and hopefully the rest (England call-ups) will take care of itself. That will be no different this season," Winks added.
