Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has already decided on his next move.
That's according to reports in Spain, which suggest the midfielder is looking a way out of North London having featured sparingly under Jose Mourinho.
Winks has racked up 21 appearances this season, but he has found starts hard to come by, starting just six times in the Premier League for Spurs this season.
And that could lead the 25-year-old to quit Tottenham, potentially following in the footsteps of former Spurs full-back Kieran Trippier in moving to Spain.
According to Sport, Winks tried to push through a move to La Liga in January but failed to get a deal done with Jose Mourinho keen to keep depth in his midfield.
But the story may not end there. The report claims Winks will 'insist' on joining one of La Liga's top clubs in the summer as he looks for more regular game time.
Winks apparently has a soft spot for Spanish football and former teammate Trippier's success since making the move will only whet his appetite.
Tripper, although in the midst of a suspension over gambling breaches, has enjoyed an excellent season with Atletico Madrid, who are odds on to win the La Liga title this season, six points ahead at the top with a game in hand.
One of the issues Winks could face is the fact many Spanish clubs, including big three Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all facing financial issues amid the coronavirus pandemic.
That could make a move hard to pull off with Winks likely to sell for well over £20million, even if Mourinho sanctions the deal, but this is a space worth watching.
Winks, who came through the club's academy, has a contract at Spurs until 2024.
