Harry Wilson talks Liverpool future and lifts lid on regular contact with Reds

Liverpool starlet Harry Wilson has opened up on his future ahead of potentially his last game on loan at Derby County.

Wilson will be a key member of the Derby squad attempting to earn promotion to the Premier League on Monday when they face Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

It will mark the end of a second straight successful season in the Championship for Wilson, who also starred at Hull City the campaign before.

The future looks bright for Wilson but the 22-year-old could be heading for new pastures, with Liverpool reportedly slapping a £25m price tag on the winger.

The likes of Premier League sides Wolves, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Southampton and Brighton have been linked and Wilson is aware of the rumours.

"I've seen a lot of reports," Wilson told Derbyshire Live . "I'm on social media and I saw the story break the other day.

"But I'm just concentrating on the final on Monday. That's got my full focus and in the summer, that's when we'll sit down and talk about my future. Obviously, every player wants to play at the top level. If I could do that with Derby, it would be great."

Wilson, though, admits he has been in regular contact with Liverpool during his loan deal and says all the information gets relayed back to Jurgen Klopp.

"There's a loan guy, Jules (Julian Ward, Liverpool loan manager), that I keep in regular contact with, and he comes to some of the games," said Wilson.

"I speak to him and he feeds back to the manager at Liverpool (Jurgen Klopp). So I'm in regular contact but my full focus is on Monday."
