Harry Wilson sparks transfer scramble after deciding to quit Liverpool

Harry Wilson has sparked a scramble for his signature after deciding he wants to quit Liverpool.

Wilson wants regular first-team football next season after going so close to helping Derby win promotion to the Premier League and feels his opportunities will be limited at Liverpool.

The Wales winger has one year left on his Anfield contract and is attracting interest from the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga.

Crystal Palace see him as a possible replacement for Wilfried Zaha if they fail to hang onto their star winger, while Newcastle, Southampton and Brighton are also keen.

Augsburg, Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt are monitoring his situation and German clubs remain interested in young, British talent because of the success of Jadon Sancho.

Wilson, 22, is also understood to be open to moving to Spain and there is interest in him from La Liga.

Liverpool may be prepared to cash in on Wilson and they have sold other young players like Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe recently.

Wilson feels he needs to play regularly for a top-flight side to continue his development and he scored 18 goals and made four assists while on loan at Derby last season.
