Harry Wilson has left Liverpool's camp in Austria to complete the formalities of a £12million move to Fulham.
The Reds winger only joined up with his teammates earlier this week, but was left out of the squad that beat Mainz 1-0 on Friday night.
That omission was done with the switch to Fulham in mind and Wilson has now flown from the club's base near Salzburg to wrap up a switch to the Cottagers ahead of the new season.
It is understood Liverpool are looking to earn £12m for a winger who has made just two senior appearances at the club.
Wilson, who has been on Liverpool's books since the age of eight, has been loaned out on five separate occasions and spent last season with Cardiff City in the Championship.
The 24-year-old was close towards a move to Burnley last summer before negotiations between the clubs broke down, but now appears set for west London.
It is understood the deal is likely to be confirmed within the next 48 hours as the Reds continue to offload several of their fringe players.
The deal will be the third sale this week following the departures of Marko Grujic and Taiwo Awoniyi, who moved to Porto and Union Berlin for £10.5m and £6.5m, respectively.
The sale will take Liverpool 's earnings from outgoings up to around £30m as the club try to balance the books ahead of a delve into the market.
Liam Millar's £1.3m move to Basel and Kamil Grabara's transfer to FC Copenhagen takes overall earnings to £33.3m with players like Neco Williams and Nat Phillips also attracting interest.
Wilson made his Liverpool debut under Jurgen Klopp in January 2017 in an FA Cup tie against Plymouth before making his most recent appearance for the Reds in a League Cup defeat to Arsenal on October 1 last year.
