Harry Styles takes Love On Tour to Slane Castle - parking, support, set list and everything you need to know

English pop sensation Harry Styles is coming to Slane Castle this Saturday - here is everything you need to know about the upcoming performance.

The former One Direction star, 29, is on his Love On Tour concert, which started in September 2021 and runs until July 2023, consisting of 169 shows over seven legs. Harry plays Slane Castle on June 10, before heading to Wembley in the UK for four nights.

Last June, he brought the Love On Tour to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which was attended by over 50,000 people, grossing close to €4.5m in revenue.

When is it all kicking off?

The upcoming performance on Saturday, June 10, sees gates opening at 2pm and kicks off at 2.30pm with the warmup acts. These include: Inhaler, Wet Leg, Mitch Rowland and DJ Annie Mac. The event is expected to roll on until midnight.

Long delays are expected following the concert, so revellers travelling by car are being urged to bring plenty of food, snacks and hydration to help endure the long exit times anticipated following the performance.

Transport to and from Slane Castle

Due to the rural setting of Slane Castle in Co Meath, attendees will have to travel by car or private bus as Dublin Bus have stated that they will not be operating any service to or from the concert, which will be attended by 80,000 people.

Bus Eireann has a number of routes passing through which can be accessed through their website.

Event controller Eamonn Fox said a “comprehensive and robust plan” was put in place to secure private coach services for the event.

“On the buses, they may sell out and probably will in certain areas. There’s nothing we can do in that sense. We put on as many services as we can. We are bringing a city to a village.”

There will be four official car parks – green, blue, red and pink. Car parks are assigned when booking based on garda traffic management plans.

Fans are being urged to give themselves three hours travel time, with a 30 minute walk between the car parks and the main event.

Security on site

Tight security means bags will be checked before entry, with the largest permitted being A4 size. No food, glass, alcohol, flares, cans, plastic, furniture or umbrellas are permitted, while those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ensure your ticket is saved and readily accessible and scannable through your account, in order to enter the venue. While the performance it sold out, there still may be some tickets available on Ticketmaster through resale.

There will be customer care reps in pink hi-vis vests dotted around the venue for any questions you have, or if you want to enquire about the 'Tag-A-Kid' wristband scheme.

Weather

While this weekend marks the end of high pressure and two weeks of a mini-heatwave for most of the country, conditions will not be cold, however, concert goers can expect some rain, so be prepared and bring a rain poncho.

Met Éireann said: "Generally cloudy with scattered showers moving up from the south to many parts through the morning and afternoon, reaching the north later in the evening.

"Some of the showers may be heavy. Hazy sunshine likely ahead of the showers. Warm with highest temperatures of around 20 to 25 degrees, depending on the cloud cover, with a light southeast airflow."
