Harry Styles' legions of fans were sent into a meltdown after he broke his five month Twitter silence on Saturday.
The One Direction heart throb, 25, made his comeback with a one word tweet that read: "Do."
His fans were left puzzled by their idol's one word message and replied to the star in hopes of getting a response.
Some commented on how the Sign of the Times singer has caused a stir, by writing: "He'll break the Internet just by tweeting 'do'," and "*HARRY TWEETED JUST A SINGLE WORD* everyone: going crazy and wild," and "*tweets one word* *gets 346k likes*."
Another asked the musician: "what do you want from us."
Others accused the star of teasing them as they penned: "f***ing tease," and "harry you cant just tweet one word and then leave why are you such a tease."
Some of his fans speculated about the meaning behind the cryptic post.
One mused : “Imagine the title of his new single being ‘Do’.”
"Is this new? One lyric word every day? We will have the whole song in a year!!! Yey!!," added another.
Some fans believed they cracked the meaning, as they wrote: "omg ur posting ur single’s title in words aren’t u."
A sad follower asked: "How can you tweet this and then just leave again."
Harry's tweet comes after he revealed he once got so high on magic mushrooms that he bit part of his tongue off.
The former popstar admitted psychedelics have become a big part of his creative process - and he's had a lot of fun doing them.
He told Rolling Stone : "We'd do mushrooms, lie down on the grass, and listen to Paul McCartney's Ram in the sunshine. We’d just turn the speakers into the yard.
"You’d hear the blender going, and think, 'So we're all having frozen margaritas at 10 am this morning'."
Pointing at a corner of the room, Harry added: "This is where I was standing when we were doing mushrooms and I bit off the tip of my tongue. So I was trying to sing with all this blood gushing out of my mouth. So many fond memories, this place."
Harry posed topless for the cover of the magazine's September issue.
Showing off his tattoos and his gleaming smile, Harry looks incredible as he poses with his arms lifted up above his head.
It was the second time Harry has posed for the cover of the magazine.
He first appeared in 2017, looking much more like the Harry we knew in his One Direction days.
The new shoot displayed his edgier style after he really found his feet as a solo artist.
