Harry Styles' savage dig at critic who told him to be more 'manly'

Harry Styles has made a hilarious dig at the critic who said he wasn't "manly" enough.

Candace Owens, a right wing American political commentator, had slammed Harry for wearing a dress in his recent shoot for Vogue magazine.

Owen said that men who wear clothes that are traditionally feminine are an "attack" on Western masculinity.

But Harry, 26, clearly thought the criticism was hilarious and took to his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon to poke fun at Owen's catty comment.

He posted a picture of himself wearing a light blue suit with a frilly white blouse underneath as he posed eating a banana.

"Bring back manly men," he captioned the photo.

The post was a clear response to Owens' post about him, which she made late last month.

She wrote: "There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this.

"In the West, the steady feminisation of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence.

"It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men."

Harry's post left his followers in stitches.

One commented: "We don't like manly men, we like Harry Styles."

"You're the best manly man I know," another posted.

While one on Twitter wrote: "Harry shading Candace Owens is the best thing ever."
