Harry Styles has carved out a hugely successful music career, a journey that began on The X Factor with his rise to fame as a member of One Direction and has sustained itself through his many solo releases, all of which have formed Styles into one of the defining singers of his generation.
Throughout his career, Styles' dating timeline has always frequently caught headlines and with Styles recently being spotted strolling arm-in-arm with actress and musician Zoë Kravitz in Rome, it’s fair to say there has been some late-night talking about what this could mean for his dating status.
So, who has Harry Styles been linked with before Kravitz? Here’s a look back at his relationship history.
Caroline Flack (2011-2012)
Styles briefly dated the late Caroline Flack from Late 2011 to Early 2012. The couple’s age difference drew considerable public scrutiny, with Styles being 17 and Caroline being 32 at the time of their dating.
The pair parted on good terms, and following her tragic passing, Harry paid tribute to her by wearing a black pin whilst walking the red carpet.
Emily Atack (2012)
In 2012, Styles had a short-lived romance with Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack. Atack confirmed the fling during an interview in August 2013.
She described their time together as being a “short lived thing that was just a bit of fun”. Clarifying, she stated that they were never ”boyfriend and girlfriend” and that they had a had a casual encounter before going their opposite directions.
Taylor Swift (2012–2013)
Despite being short-lived, it is possibly one of the most highly publicised of all his relationships, though dating Taylor Swift was never going to go under the radar.
They dated from late 2012 to early 2013 when the relationship ended abruptly after a holiday they took to the British Virgin Islands with Swift reportedly returning home alone after an argument.
It wouldn't be a Swift relationship if it didn’t provide inspiration for her music. A number of songs from her album 1989 are thought to reference the relationship with the most notable one being Style which plays on the singers last name.
Kendall Jenner (2013, 2015–2016)
The relationship between Styles and Kendall Jenner is one that has never been officially with the pair being very private about the suspected romance.
It has widely been described as a casual on and off situation with one source telling People magazine in 2019 that Styles was Kendall’s first real relationship and that they eventually became just friends.
Nadine Leopold (2014–2015)
Harry dated Austrian model Nadine Leopold from late 2014 to early 2015.
They were seen publicly at their respective 21st birthday celebrations, and it is allegedly reported that Styles had her initials tattooed on his body.
Camille Rowe (2017–2018)
He dated French- American model Camille Rowe from mid 2017 to July 2018. Their relationship is notable for being his longest publicised romance at the time.
The relationship is widely believed to be a huge inspiration behind his second studio album, Fine Line. ‘Cherry’ features a voicemail from Rowe in which she talks in French. The lyrics also reference her; “I just miss your accent and your friends”.
Other songs such as ‘Falling’ and ‘To Be So Lonely’ are also believed to be about the breakup.
Olivia Wilde (2021–2022)
The relationship started on set whilst Wilde was directing Styles in the 2022 film ‘Don’t Worry Darling’. The couple were noted to have been inseparable whilst filming.
Wilde was a frequent presence at his concerts during his Love on tour shows.
The couple split in November 2022 due to different priorities with Styles focused on his tour and Wilde on her children and work
Taylor Russell (2023–2024)
Styles began dating Canadian actress Taylor Russell in 2023 after she was spotted at his Love on Tour shows and he was in attendance during the opening night of her play at the National Theatre ‘The Effect’.
The pair were seen on many occasions holding hands and notably at a U2 concert where Styles debuted a daring buzzcut.
The couple split in May 2024
Olivia Dean (2024)
Rumours of the pair potentially dating started circulating shortly after his breakup with Taylor Russell.
They were seen together on a number of occasions, eating at Five Guys and later a music festival in Madrid.
Zoë Kravitz (2025–?)
Now the rumour mill has been turning once again.
The pair were spotted the pair strolling through Rome with their arms linked, before they were seen getting close at a London dinner following the premiere of her film Caught Stealing.
An insider said, “Harry and Zoë were tucked away in a corner and were snogging like teenagers. They seemed really into each other.”
With so many twists and turns, perhaps Harry’s dating life should be adapted into a movie.
