The mother of Harry Styles has demanded One Direction fans stop throwing objects at her son and his band mates after video footage emerged of Styles being hit in the face by a can.
In footage posted on Twitter, what appears to be a can of Red Bull is thrown by a fan and clearly hits Styles in the head. He is seen clutching his face and stumbles for a few seconds, while other worried fans shout “what are you doing?" at the person who threw the object.
The incident occurred during the band's performance in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening.

Styles has not commented in the incident, but his mother Anne Cox reacted angrily in Twitter, condemning the incident as “dangerous”, although she said no harm had been done.
No harm done ... This time ... Unless you're on a sports field is it acceptable to throw things at people?! I think not.

One Directioners condemned the incident on Twitter, with one user writing: “I hope you are ok, I'm sorry for this person who threw the bottle. Another added: “Someone hit @Harry_Styles' face with a bottle or something during the concert. I hope he's okay. Guys, don't throw stuff on stage.”
The Independent has contacted a representative for Styles for comment.
