Harry Styles latest star rumoured for Glastonbury Festival 2020

Glastonbury Festival will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, meaning organisers are likely pulling out all the stops to secure a stand-out lineup.

Huge stars like Diana Ross have already been confirmed, with other acts like Wolf Alice and Carl Cox also set to play.

But the full lineup is yet to be released, although the rumour mill is well in motion with acts like Taylor Swift among the bookies' favourites.

Now a new name has been added, as Harry Styles has reportedly been asked to perform.

The Daily Star's music and showbiz writer James Cabooter has written a piece to say Glastonbury Festival has called the One Direction star asking him to perform at the anniversary event.

Harry would become the first member of One Direction to perform live at Glasto.

James Cabooter said a source told him: “Harry’s solo career is a huge departure from the pop stuff he did with One Direction.

"There’s a genuine respect for the music he’s making and festival organisers know he can pull in the crowds.”

Harry, who releases his new album Fine Line on December 13, let slip last week that he turned down movie roles due to his 2020 tour commitments.
