Harry Styles can now read you a bedtime story during these uncertain times on the Calm app

Relaxation and meditation app Calm has enlisted yet another celebrity to lull you to sleep: Harry Styles.

After tapping the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Kelly Rowland, Laura Dern and Lucy Liu to read bedtime stories for listeners, the former One Direction star has finally come to the platform with his own story, set to launch tomorrow.

Calm announced the news yesterday on Twitter, revealing it would soon be possible to #DreamWithHarry with one of its Sleep Stories.

On Instagram, Calm also shared a video of Styles in a recording booth speaking into a microphone as proof.

They also shared a video showing just how many users had clamoured for Styles to record one of the Sleep Stories, accompanied by the words, “It’s here.”

The video also provided a sneak peek of Styles' story, as it ended with the singer's mellow voice saying: "Hello. I'm Harry Styles."

The app previously teased Styles’ arrival to the platform, sharing a string of emojis including a watermelon, book and a bed.

Fans of Styles instantly picked up on the subtle messaging, as the watermelon emoji has become strongly associated with Styles due to his song 'Watermelon Sugar.'

The paid-for app aims to help alleviate anxieties and help those struggling to sleep with a series of calming recorded stories and guided meditations.

A number of stars have joined its roster to read Sleep Stories, including Kelly Rowland’s tale about a baby dragon, Liu’s story about Chinese mythology in ‘Festival of the First Moon’ and Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman’s dive into a big bad wolf learning “anger management.”
