Harry Styles' Brits performance to go ahead after death of his ex Caroline Flack

Harry Styles will go ahead with his performance at Tuesday night's Brit Awards following the death of ex Caroline Flack at the weekend.

Former One Direction star Harry is up for two awards at the O2 Arena ceremony, which takes place just three days after Caroline's death, with the 40-year-old found dead in her London flat on Saturday.

Harry and Caroline dated nearly a decade ago now, with their relationship rarely away from the headlines and a spokesperson for the Adore You singer has revealed that his performance at the Brits will go ahead as planned.

Despite the tragic news which will have affected him deeply, Harry’s looking for the BRIT Awards has not changed,” a source told the Daily Star.

“He will perform during the show as planned.”

While Harry himself has yet to speak out about Caroline's death, his mum Anne Twist paid tribute to the former Love Island host over the weekend on her social media, writing: "Heartbreaking #RIPCarolineFlack.”

Other performers at the Brit Awards 2020 will include singer of the new Bond theme, Billie Eilish and music legend Tod Stewart.

The ceremony, once again hosted by Jack Whitehall, will air live on ITV from 8pm, with red carpet coverage starting at 7pm over on ITV2.
