Harry Styles' Brits performance of Falling moves fans to tears days after death of ex Caroline Flack

Harry Styles moved fans to tears with an incredibly moving performance at the Brit Awards on Tuesday night.

It was revealed on Tuesday morning that former One Direction star Harry would go ahead with his Brits performance following the death of ex girlfriend at the weekend.

"Despite the tragic news which will have affected him deeply, Harry’s looking for the BRIT Awards has not changed,” a source told the Daily Star.

“He will perform during the show as planned.”

And Harry's performance of ballad Falling proved incredibly moving and incredibly poignant as he stood there behind the mix minus any big production and just delivered the song's heartfelt lyrics. Fans took to Twitter to praise Harry for going through with the performance, while many said they had been left sobbing.

Tweeting screenshots of his performance, one fan posted: "This is Harry Styles in the lake of my tears while performing Falling on #Brits2020 phenomenal," and another reacted: ". @HarryStyles’ performance of Falling at The BRIT AWARDS is simply mesmerizing. Stop making me cry!!!!"

Harry also gave the night one of his funniest moments with his conversation with host Jack Whitehall covering everything from psychadelic drugs to Simon Cowell's face lifts and ending with Jack and Lizzo, who was sitting nearby, downing neat tequila.
