Strap on and strap in, ladies and gents, because Harry Styles just broke the internet with the announcement that his brand, Pleasing, is moving into the sexual wellness space as. Idk about you, but my insufferable teenage self is readying the Wattpad fanfics right now.
The “Pleasing Yourself” collection features two products: a double-sided vibrator and a lube that “that put[s] pleasure exactly where it belongs,” as the website reads. It comes as “the result of our radical pursuit of that which feels good,” and oh my god I’m blushing.
The Double-Sided Vibrator was created in collaboration with sex educator and author, Zoë Ligon, with the goal of not only being functional, but aesthetic, too. It’s a wand vibrator as well as an internal stimulator, killing two birds with one stone (although the website emphasises it’s not suited for anal penetration due to not having a flared base).
“I love this wand because its rumbling motors are powerful and deep, yet it’s compact enough to use easily with a partner or alongside other toys,” Zoë said to Pleasing.
The Double-Sided Vibrator has seven speeds and two motors, so you can use each side of the vibe separately to suit whatever you’re feeling.
It’s also pretty decently priced at $110 AUD, so you’re not gonna blow out your bank account (just your back) trying to get as close to banging Harry Styles as possible.
The Pleasing Lube does what Harry Styles does best, combining femininity with its deep cherry colour with a masculine, phallic shape. It’s priced at $41 AUD, and is “safe for penile, anal, and vaginal use,” as written on Pleasing’s website. It’s compatible with most condoms and non-silicone sex toys.
However, this means you actually can’t use it with the Double-Sided Vibrator, since it’s written in the materials that the vibrator actually contains silicone. Guess you’ll be saving the lube for your “secret little rendezvous” that don’t involve the dual vibrator.
The collection was revealed on Thursday 24 July on the Pleasing’s website, following a post on its Instagram page that teased the collection in true Harry Styles fashion: abstract, artsy, and beating-around-the-bush.
There’s also going to be a limited New York pop-up: “The Pleasing Pleasure Shop, a first-of-its-kind Pleasing experience”, to celebrate the collection launch.
And while plenty of fans are thrilled to try out the Pleasing Yourself collection, others commented on how they’re still (impatiently) waiting for new music.
The Pleasing Yourself collection doesn’t have a drop date on the website, with both products labelled as “coming soon.”
And unfortunately for us Aussies, we can’t get our hands on the Double-Sided Vibrator just yet. On the product page, it states it’s only available for shipping in the US and UK, but they’re “working hard to expand availability to other countries as soon as possible.” Until then, we’ll be waiting with our candles lit and playlist at the ready. Hurry up Harry, we want to say goodnight to you!
The same message isn’t visible on the lube’s product page, so we’re assuming that once the Pleasing Yourself collection drops, we’ll at least be able to get our hands on that one.
