Harry Styles’ statement suit has been talk of the town following his BRIT Awards appearance earlier this week.
The 26-year-old former One Direction heartthrob looked fresh as he donned a canary yellow three-piece suit during one of his many costume changes throughout the evening.
But, it’s not for the first time that we’ve seen the eye-catching number.
Harry’s striking suit was actually styled much earlier by none other than Lady Gaga, when she posed for the cover of ELLE Magazine some months ago.
Harry rocked the Marc Jacobs womenswear getup, which Lady Gaga had earlier paired with an enormous yellow hat and silver shimmery eye make-up.
Fresh off the runway, he teamed the bold lilac bow and bright yellow outfit with white dress shoes and a handful of chunky rings.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out the similar choice of suit on social media.
“lady gaga and harry styles in the same suit. that's it. that's the tweet,” wrote one excited fan.
Much to her surprise, the Bad Romance pop queen then actually liked the post herself.
Other fans, however, found the funny side in the uncanny resemblance with a post of their own.
“Lady Gaga and Harry Styles doing Jane Porter cosplay. That’s it. That’s the tweet,” joked another in reference to the Tarzan character who also wears a yellow and purple outfit.
Aside from breaking out in the androgynous ensemble, what was most striking about Harry’s outfit was the tiny badge that was attached to his left lapel.
In line with his heart, the badge read “treat people with kindness.”
Although the statement comes from his new album, the powerful message resonates with the memory of his former beau Caroline, who posted a similar message on Instagram in December.
“In a world where you can be anything, be kind,” the late TV presenter had previously told followers.
Harry’s BRITs outfit follows after a series of appearances where he challenged gender boundaries with eye-catching and risky looks.
From his lace black one piece to cravat-laden bold print s uits, Harry has become an unstoppable fashion icon.
