Harry Styles banks eye-watering £50million from solo career after One Direction

Harry Styles has reportedly earned a whopping £50million after leaving One Direction in pursuit of his solo career.

The 26-year-old X Factor star, who recently celebrated One Direction's 10-year anniversary, made the impressive earnings in the three years after he stepped away from the band.

According to The Sun, Harry's independent label Erskine Records has amassed assets £24.7 million from music sales.

Erskin Touring, that factors in all of Harry's gigs and performances, raked in a further £21.8million.

The publication also revealed that Harry boasts £3.4million in assets linked to his company HSA Publishing.

His assets total just under £50 million, earned solely from his independent work away from One Direction.

That comes on top of the band's jaw dropping earnings after their tour Where We Are, became the highest-grossing gig ever - around the £220 million mark.

Harry's fortune - which is believed to be the highest among his band mates - also includes payment for projects such as the movie Dunkirk.

A few months ago, The Sunday Times estimated that the rest of the One Direction singers also boast huge fortunes - but they pale in comparison to Harry.

According to the publication, Niall came in second with around £50million in the bank.

Louis is then recorded as having £45million in earnings, Liam comes next with £44million and Zayn has a reported £36million.

During May, Harry released his latest summery single Watermelon Sugar, and the track has recently grown to 4th spot in the charts.

Despite his jaw dropping solo career earnings, Harry also credited his success thanks to the amazing success of One Direction.

In a moving post that he shared during the band's tenth anniversary, he wrote about how grateful he was for their journey.

He wrote: "I’ve been struggling to put into words how grateful I am for everything that’s happened over the last ten years. I’ve seen things and places that I’d only ever dreamt of when I was growing up.

"I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most incredible people, and gained friendships that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life.

"None of this would be possible without the support you’ve given along the way. And for that, I will be forever thankful.

"I just can’t believe it’s been ten years. Thank you to our crew, our team, and everyone else who helped us along the way.

"To all the fans, I love you, and I thank you with all my heart. You did it all, and you changed everything.

"And finally.. to the boys, I love you so much, and I couldn’t be prouder of everything we achieved together. Here’s to ten. H."
