Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has playfully responded to the Celtic vacancy when he was asked if he would like to succeed Neil Lennon.
The legendary manager remains invested in the beautiful game and has never completely shut the door on making a return to the dugout.
The 74-year-old hasn't managed since a brief stay with Birmingham in 2017 but couldn't hide his enthusiasm when Alan Brazil if he would be up for a switch to Celtic.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "Oh, I'd love it! What a job that is."
And his interest was piqued further when Brazil reminded horse-mad Redknapp of principal shareholder Dermot Desmond 's closeness with racehorse owner J.P McManus
Redknapp responded: "I'll make a call today."
But he doesn't believe a move to Glasgow is in the offing for nephew Frank Lampard and has lined-up an alternative club for the former Chelsea boss.
And Redknapp believes a stay in London could see the 42-year-old land an opening this summer.
He added: "Roy (Hodgson) done a great job at Palace, whether he stays, if he doesn't stay Frank would be my favourite to be the next Palace manager.
"But Roy is still in the job and he's done a great job but if he does call it a day I would think Frank would be red-hot favourite."
