Harry Redknapp has told Dele Alli to concentrate on his football or risk seeing his career go to waste.
The attacking midfielder has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur, having made just one Premier League appearance so far this season, which saw him hauled off at half-time in the opening weekend defeat to Everton.
There has been plenty of speculation over Alli's future, with PSG having shown interest in taking him on loan.
Former Spurs boss Redknapp says he fears that the 24-year-old may be focusing too much on life outside football.
Instead, Redknapp says Alli needs to focus on football, adding that he feels the player needs better advice from people off-the-pitch.
"In all honesty, I would just say listen, concentrate on your football," Redknapp told TalkSport.
"Come in every day, train, go home, work at the games, it’s a short career and you are a fantastic talent. Don’t waste it.
"They tell me he’s a good lad. Everyone I speak to says what a good guy he is. I just think he needs better advice.
"He needs to concentrate, train and work hard every day.
"At the moment, it looks like he wants to enjoy the life too much. He’s a young guy."
