Harry Redknapp says Gareth Bale would be the 'full package' for Tottenham

former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes that the club should move to bring Gareth Bale back to North London, stating he would be the 'full package'.

The Wales forward has seen his future shrouded in speculation throughout the course of the past year and irked Real Madrid in midweek after his celebrations with his national side.

After a victory against Hungary sealed Wales' spot in next summer's European Championships, Bale was pictured celebrating with his team-mates alongside a flag that said 'Wales, golf, Madrid in that order' - a reference to criticisms he has faced from the Spanish press.

Bale, who came close to sealing a move to China during the summer transfer window, is now backed to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future and Redknapp believes he'd be an ideal fit for Spurs.

"He looks like he doesn't worry. He's an amazing talent. Of course, I'd take him all day. What a talent. He's 6 ft 3, he can run, dribble, shoot, head it, he's the full package. He's got everything," Redknapp told Sky Sports’ The Debate.

Former Scotland international Ally McCoist then added that he feels Bale no longer cares how he is viewed in Spain, using this week's celebrations as evidence.

"An element of me thinks he's passed caring," McCoist added. "I think he's reached the stage where he just wants to enjoy his football and when you watch him with his Welsh team-mates, he's certainly doing that."

Bale has featured just six times in La Liga for Real Madrid so far this season but has contributed two goals and two assists in those appearances.
