Harry Redknapp's ominous warning about Man City as he expresses concern for Watford in cup final

Harry Redknapp has backed Manchester City to secure a historic treble by defeating Watford in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's side can become the first side in English football to win the Premier League, the League Cup and the FA Cup in one season with victory over the Hornets.

Javi Gracia has worked wonders since arriving at Vicarage Road, but speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp said he expects City to have too much for the Golden boys.

He said: "I don’t think Manchester City would swap winning the domestic treble for a place in the Champions League final.

“They’re setting records that will last for a long, long time.

"Their time in the Champions League will come, I’m sure of it, but these records will stay. There’s a strong chance their dominance of English football will continue next season and Pep’s side will be remembered as one of the greatest.

The West Ham and Everton heroics Watford will hope to emulate against Man City in FA Cup final

“I worry for Watford on Sunday. But if City do win at Wembley, what a wonderful achievement it’ll be. No English team has managed to win a domestic treble in 58 years, which tells you just how hard it is to do.”
