Harry Redknapp's health fears for wife Sandra after admitting she's 'not very well'

Harry Redknapp has shared his worries for wife Sandra as she has specialist treatment after 'not feeling very well'.

The I'm A Celebrity King of the Jungle has revealed his despair as his beloved wife of 51 years has fallen ill, months after she battled sepsis last year.

A clearly moved Redknapp opened up at an AOL Build, saying: "She hasn’t been particularly well.

"We have been to a specialist in London. I have rung her 8 times today just to see how she is."

Harry almost cancelled his appearance in the Australian jungle last December, as Sandra suffered from sepsis but she managed to feel better enough for him to feel happy to fly Down Under.

Sandra then joined the families of the other camp mates, after feeling well enough to fly, and saw Harry get crowned after winning the ITV show.

Speaking about her illness, Harry said that wealth is no substitute for having your loved ones feeling better.

He revealed: ""It’s scary when you love someone and spend whole life with them, you worry about something happening to them.

"Wealth doesn’t bring happiness. Health is the most important thing.

"You can be the richest man in the world and nothing can help you, when you are in pain and suffering, that’s far more important thing than wealth. Health and happiness."

Despite this, Harry claims that having the odd row here and there has been a secret to their success, when it comes to having a long, happy marriage.

Harry said: "You can’t have a row and throw the towel in - you’ll have good days and bad days. You have to work through it."

He added: "When I met Sandra I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her."
