Harry Redknapp reveals how the North London Derby between Tottenham and Arsenal could be won

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has suggested that the Arsenal defence will be "wondering how they’ll cope" with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min during the latest instalment of the North London Derby.

The two teams come together at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with both sides aiming to kick their seasons into top gear.

Spurs enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign but have since fallen away with back-to-back 3-0 defeats at the hands of Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have gone in the other direction with three losses from the first three games of the season before a resurgence in recent weeks.

Whilst that is immaterial considering the magnitude of the game, Redknapp believes that the Arsenal defence are in for a tough afternoon faced with the challenge of keeping Kane and Son quiet.

Speaking to The Sun, the 74-year-old said: "In my mind the North London Derby is an opportunity for Tottenham to show why they should be challenging for the top four.

"Nuno mentioned injury problems, but having Kane, Son and Alli in your forward line, you should be cementing your place in those Champions League spots.

"The Arsenal back line will be looking at them ahead of today’s game and wondering how they’ll cope, because it’s been hard work for them at times this season.

"A lot of it will come down to whether the Gunners can raise their game, because there’s no doubt Tottenham have a much better squad."

Ahead of the game, both players have certainly had their say in this particular fixture in the past. Kane has 11 career goals against Arsenal and is the all-time top scorer in North London derbies.

Meanwhile, South Korean forward Son has had a hand in seven goals in as many appearances in all competitions against Arsenal.
