Harry Redknapp predicts where Tottenham, Man United and Liverpool will finish in the table

Harry Redknapp believes that Tottenham will be fighting it out for the final Champions League place come May.

In a very good position in the league at the start of 2021, Spurs have dropped down the table in recent weeks following poor results against the likes of Fulham, Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea.

Currently eighth after beating West Brom on Sunday afternoon, the Lilywhites are four points off Liverpool in fourth but Jose Mourinho's men do crucially have a game in hand to play away at Aston Villa.

With both Manchester clubs and Leicester City also riding high in the standings, Redknapp feels that his former side do still have a chance of finishing in the top four but they will be fighting it out with the Foxes and Chelsea for it.

“Tottenham have had a difficult year. I still think they have a fantastic squad and a good group of players," said Redknapp when speaking ahead of the Betfair Hurdle in a call with Great British Racing.

"It was a good win against West Brom and I think they could push for the top four. They have a brilliant manager and whilst their form has taken a little dip, Harry Kane coming back on Sunday and scoring shows how important he is for the team and he could maybe lead them to a top-four finish.

"At the moment the top four will probably be Man City, Liverpool, Manchester United and then either Leicester, Chelsea or Tottenham in my opinion.”

Following a stunning run of form that has seen them rise up the table in recent weeks, Man City are the outright favourites to regain their Premier League crown from Liverpool.

Recording a brilliant 4-1 win away at Anfield on Sunday evening as they put Jurgen Klopp's side to the sword, Redknapp has stated that the title race is now over with the main prize heading to the Etihad Stadium once again.

“The title race is over. It’s Man City all the way - game over," he added. "They look different class this season, I just can’t see anyone catching them and they were sensational against Liverpool.

"I thought it was a two-horse race at the start of the year between Liverpool and Man City. But Liverpool can’t give a 10-point start away to Man City and they just look at the top of their game at the moment.

“Manchester United have done well this season, but I can’t seem them catching Man City.”
