Harry Redknapp believes Harry Kane could move to Liverpool this summer

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes Liverpool could be one of three possible destinations for Harry Kane this summer.

Kane is keen to leave the North London side in pursuit of trophies, with Manchester City and Manchester United among those believed to be interested in his services.

However, Spurs are likely to demand a fee in excess of £100m if the forward, who turns 28 in July, is to leave this summer, which could be an issue for potential suitors.

But Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of Kane, with the Anfield club believed to be assessing their striking reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window.

And speaking to former United defender Gary Neville on The Overlap earlier this week, the England skipper publicly admitted he is open to a transfer and will hold talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy about his future this summer.

"I think so. I think it’s definitely a conversation to be had with the club. Yeah, like you say, I want to be playing in the biggest games. The biggest moments," he said.

"Like, this season I’m there watching the Champions League, watching the English teams in there doing amazing. They are the games that I want to be involved in.

"I want to be in them games. So for sure, it’s a moment in my career where I have to kind of reflect and see where I’m at and have a good, honest conversation with the chairman. I hope that we can have that conversation.

"I’m sure that he’ll want to set out the plan of where he sees it but ultimately it’s going to be down to me and how I feel and what’s going to be the best for me and my career at this moment in time."

And now Redknapp has suggested that Liverpool could be in the mix to sign Kane in the upcoming window alongside City and United.

“What a signing he would be, whoever signs him,” the former Spurs boss said on Redknapp's Big Night Out show on Sky.

“If he went to Man United, for instance, you would fancy them next year to have a big chance of winning. He makes such a difference.”

“He can turn a team. Liverpool, Man United, Man City. Where would he go? One of them three.”
