Harry Potter: Wizards Unite game is launching on Friday on iOS and Android

It's been nearly three years since Pokemon Go took over the world and this summer it could be Harry Potter fever which sweeps the streets.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite takes the concept of Pokemon Go, but with wizards - and it has even been developed by the same company Niantic.

The game's official Twitter account tweeted the news that it would be rolling out across the globe from Friday June 21.

The wording of Niantic’s tweet simply says the worldwide launch will begin on June 21 and says to watch for more information “as the game goes live in your region soon.

The game will be available on both Android and iOS devices and Niantic CEO John Hanke also teased a potential Pokémon Go Fest-style event for later this summer.
