The magic of Harry Potter is set to take over an East Belfast cinema this May.

Following hot on the heels of their very popular Greatest Showman event, the Strand in East Belfast will give the full Hogwarts treatment to a special family screening of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third film in hugely successful film series.

It’s Harry’s third year at Hogwarts; not only does he have a new “Defense Against the Dark Arts” teacher, but there is also trouble brewing. And convicted murderer Sirius Black has escaped the Wizards’ Prison and is coming after Harry.
Strand Arts Centre promises a fun-filled half hour from 3.45pm featuring wizards, magicians and special illusions before the main feature at 4.15pm. And there will be prizes for the best fancy dress.
