Harry Potter-themed store magically returns to Leeds city centre

We thought the House of Wizardry store had closed for good, yet just like magic, it has re-appeared.

The store for people who love all things Harry Potter first opened in October of last year, but by early 2019 the Briggate site was empty.

For a number of months the store remained dormant, yet just in time for the lead-up to Christmas, it is now back open.

We visited the store last year and found everything from Bertie Bott's every flavour beans, to chocolate frogs, Gryffindor hoodies and the powerful elder wand.

As well as Potter gear it looks as though the shop sells products from other blockbuster films, including a large section covering the Marvel Universe.

Upon its opening last year, store manager Dom Connolly explained why he felt the store was an essential for the city.

"We wanted to open a store focusing on gig memorabilia and pop culture and just brought everything together and made a great nerd store for everyone to enjoy.

"We have had quite a few hard core Harry Potter fans in already. They inspect the wands and let you know about the products as well and have a great knowledge base."
