Harry Potter superfan Ariana Grande had 'crush' on one cast member and penned song for him

Ariana Grande has a catalogue of chart toppers, but one of the Dangerous Woman singer's first songs was actually dedicated to a Harry Potter actor.

A well known fan of the film franchise, Ariana Grande joined pals at a Harry Potter themed party for her 23rd birthday.

And the singer also has tattoos inspired by the movie, with the word 'Lumos', a spell from the JK Rowling books, tattooed on her hand.

She also has the word 'Always' tattooed on her ribs, believed to be inspired by Professor Snape declaring his love for Lily Evans.

She also has a "9 ¾” tattooed on her finger, the famous platform where the Harry Potter cast board the Hogwarts Express.

We recently took a look at where some of the lesser known Harry Potter cast are now.

But one of the lesser known facts about Grande's love of Harry Potter is the song she penned for one character she had a 'crush' on.

Grande revealed she was a Dracoy Malfoy superfan after the actor who played Potter's nemesis, Tom Felton, said his girlfriend had been listening to one of her songs on repeat.

She initially remained calm, but then revealed she actually had Draco Malfoy-themed pillows and even penned a song to him aged nine.

According to Seventeen Magazine, Felton had tweeted: “On a road trip! @arianagrande, my gf has ‘Almost is Never Enough’ on repeat, having a sing-song!! Happy New Year.”

Grande then replied saying, “Amazing, I send my love!”, but followed up with the revelation about her early song.

“But remember when I wrote a song about him and had Draco Malfoy pillowcases when I was nine, oops," she said.
