Harry Potter Studios Tour unveils brand new 'Magical Mischief' event for 2022

Harry Potter fans can celebrate the best of the wizarding world's pranks and jokes thanks at a brand new event coming to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter.

The attraction is launching a brand new feature for 2022 which will take you behind-the-scenes for some of the films' funniest moments.

We think the Weasley twins would most approve. In fact, some of their famous scenes feature including when they crashed the O.W.Ls exam, or when they grew beards and accidentally got burned when putting their names into the Goblet of Fire.

Other highlights include discovering how special effects worked for creating the invisibility cloak, the secrets behind how the world-famous flying letters scene at Privet Drive was brought to life, and making your very own origami Howler (without the angry shouts from Molly Weasley).

Oh, and eagle-eyed muggles may even spot the occasional Cornish Pixie or two on the loose around the tour. (In fact, find them all and you could collect stamps as part of a Marauder’s Map activity passport).

The Magical Mischief event "shines a spotlight on magical pranks and mishaps" and will run from January 22 through to May 1, 2022.

It will be alongside the attraction's existing features such as props, costumes, real-life sets and plenty of behind-the-scenes insights into how filmmakers brought the Wizarding World to life.

The event is included within the general admission tickets to the attraction. Tickets start from £49.95 in 2022, and group tickets from £47.95 based on over 10 people being part of the booking.

You can find out more and book on wbstudiotour.co.uk.

It's worth noting that the tour is based in Watford, which can easily be access by train from central London.

The Studios Tour isn't the only wizarding magic to be found in the UK. In fact, we've rounded up some of the UK's best Harry Potter themed breaks which include a Hogwarts themed cottage, a ride on the real-life Hogwarts Express and of course, plenty of days out to the various Harry Potter filming locations you can visit.

Meanwhile there's also currently a Forbidden Forest themed trail at Arley Hal & Gardens in Cheshire, as well as a new photographic exhibition in London which celebrates the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises with behind-the-scenes images.
