This Merchant City hot-spot had the red carpet rolled out for British acting royalty yesterday.
Legendary actor Timothy Spall delighted the team at Swadish when he popped into their Ingram Street eatery for a bite to eat.
Best known for iconic roles in films including Harry Potter, The King's Speech and Secrets & Lies, the star told staff he was taking a break from his busy filming schedule to sample their traditional Indian and Pakistani cuisine.
Adding that he was "after something different" we've no doubt he found something to suit his tastes at the restaurant, which opened at the end of the summer.
