Harry Potter star Devon Murray shares moving montage as he celebrates son's birthday

Harry Potter star Devon Murray has marked his son’s first birthday with a moving montage.

Whilst fans worldwide have been glued to their screens celebrating the anniversary special, Returns to Hogwarts, at the weekend, devoted dad Devon, 33, had an even more special occasion in the diary.

His son’s first birthday.

In a touching post, where he shared a video montage of his son’s first year, the Kildare born acting star wrote: “Happy Birthday Cooper.

“You came into this world a year ago today and stole my heart forever.

“I can’t wait for the next year of adventures with you.”

It comes as Murray, who starred as Harry's Gryffindor classmate Seamus Finnigan for the ten year duration of the series, was noted as one of a list of prominent alums of the blockbuster film series who were absent from the reunion special, which aired on Sky TV this week.

But the Irish star celebrated the milestone in his own way last week, as he sat down to rewatch the movie magic with his little boy.

Showcasing the toddler sitting in front of the telly to watch the film, he said: “20 years of Harry Potter on Christmas Day.

“Now it’s time for the next generation to start his journey in the Wizarding World.”

Meanwhile fans went wild as the actor posed alongside Viktor Krum actor Stan Yanevsk and their co-stars Tolga Safer, Hugh Mitchell and Sean Biggerstaff when the group had a catch up in Paris to mark the milestone last month.
