Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright confirms she has married boyfriend Andrew Lococo

Bonnie Wright has gushed about the "best day of my life" after confirming she's tied the knot with boyfriend Andrew Lococo.

The star, 31, is best known for playing Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise and took to social media on Sunday to make her wonderful announcement.

She shared a clip of the happy couple showing off their wedding rings while they relaxed around a pool.

Alongside the upload, she wrote: "Yesterday was the best day of my life thanks to my husband!!"

Bonnie showcased her stunning new piece of jewellery as a dark blue square diamond sat beautifully in her gold band.

She placed her hand - with her sparkly nail varnish - above the tanned hand of her beau who sported a more traditional wedding band.

The pair were quickly inundated with an abundance of well wishes from fans and famous faces alike.

One such well wisher was James Phelps, who played her brother Fred Weasley in the hit Harry Potter movies.

The actor simply commented with a number of party emojis while fellow Harry Potter actress Scarlet Hefner, who starred as Pansy Parkinson, penned: "Congratulations to you both! @thisisbwright."

Singer Soko was also among the comments, gushing: "CONGRATULATIONS BONBON !!"

While the official length of Bonnie and Andrew's relationship is unknown, the pair first shared snaps together on social media in September 2020.

In a February vlog on YouTube she revealed how they had moved in together after she left her Los Angeles base and moved in with her beau in San Diego.

She said: "Andrew and I had been going back and forth between these two cities for a long time, so we were ready to live in the same place.

"This is Andrew's house, which is now our house. He has lived here for 10 years [and] has a beautiful garden. He's looked after it very well."

Bonnie was recently reunited with her Harry Potter co-stars for the HBO Special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts.

Speaking about the special to US Weekly, she confessed she had wished the storylines on the films had delved deeper into Ginny's relationship with Harry.

She admitted: "In terms of what was left out, I mean, I think everyone would have loved every part of their character in the book in the film.

"But I think for me, what I would have loved is just kind of in the nuances of the relationship building.

"I think just having a bit more of that onscreen, I think to see the kind of chemistry and our dynamic develop, I think would have been really helpful and key to their sort of love story and why they end up together."
