Harry Potter fans can explore a new immersive Wizarding World exhibition in 2022

Harry Potter fans, get ready to don your Hogwarts robes, grab your wands and broomsticks and prepare for a whole new dose of Wizarding World magic!

That's because a brand new immersive exhibition celebrating all things Harry Potter (and Fantastic Beasts too!) is set to tour the world in 2022, and we're adding it to our bucket list immediately.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition, a new venture from Imagine Exhibitions and Warner Bros, will offer behind-the-scenes looks at the films, a chance to get up close to props, and heaps of magical surprises for muggles to explore.

The whole exhibition will cover between 929-1,858 sq m and will feature nods to both the Harry Potter films and the Fantastic Beasts franchises. It promises to offer "best-in-class immersive design and technology" to bring the stories to life once more including beloved spots such as Hogwarts, Gringotts and the Ministry of Magic.

The exhibition will also celebrate the Fantastic Beasts films (Daily Mirror)

Expect other perks such as authentic props and original costumes from the films, as well as dramatic duels, dragons and (for the Slytherins among us) Dark Arts.

It's set to be "the largest and most comprehensive touring exhibition ever presented about the Wizarding World".

The exhibition is due to launch on a world tour in 2022, although no exact destinations have yet been confirmed so we don't know if the UK will feature (watch this space!).

The good news for Brits is that there are plenty of ways to channel your inner Hogwarts student in the UK, whether you're opting for a Harry Potter inspired break from themed accommodation to cool attractions, or exploring one of the many Harry Potter filming locations in the UK. (Always check the latest government guidance before planning a trip - at the time of writing, domestic travel is banned under lockdowns across the UK).

You can find out more about the upcoming exhibition on imagineexhibitions.com.
