Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has issued a message to Amad following the teenager's Premier League debut for the club.
Amad was among the 10 changes made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the tie against Leicester City and caught the eye with his display.
While United would lose the game 2-1 to Brendan Rodgers' side, Amad contributed an assist for Mason Greenwood's first-half equaliser and has left fans excited to see more from the teenager.
The 18-year-old Ivory Coast international had already made an impression in the Europa League, scoring against AC Milan at the San Siro, with expectations high for the future.
Among those backing Amad to shine over the course of the coming years is United skipper Maguire, who issued a message to the summer signing on social media.
"Congratulations on the debut and assist @Amaddiallo_10. Big future ahead," he posted, alongside emojis showing hands raised high and clapping.
Maguire was not able to take to the field alongside Amad due to injury but will be hoping to make a return for the Europa League final against Villarreal.
Amad earned praise from Solskjaer after the match, who highlighted the performance from the Ivorian alongside goalscorer Mason Greenwood.
“The young kid Amad did really well. Mason again, he looked like a seasoned professional out there, he’s only 19 and the way he’s played today as well very, very good.”
United are back in action on Thursday against Liverpool, the final match in a frantic spell of three games across five days in the Premier League.
