England WAGs gear up for Euro final with cocktails, manicures and joint hairdresser trip

As Euro 2020 excitement reaches fever pitch ahead of tonight's final, some of the England WAGs have got together to ease their pre-match nerves.

Fern Hawkins, the fiancée of Harry Maguire, and Megan Davison, the wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, started their preparations early as they teamed up to enjoy a cosy night-in on Saturday night to ready themselves for the big day ahead.

Taking to Instagram, Fern revealed that she and Megan had a night of pampering which involved England manicures, personalised pyjamas and a very delicious takeaway.

Fern, who got engaged to England defender Maguire in 2017, first shared a snap of her and Megan clad in white silk pyjamas customised with the surnames of their other halves.

"Pre match night in with baby girl," cried Fern in the caption, revealing her and Megan's close bond.

The two were then seen supping some fruity-looking cocktails, with added strawberries, while they got their nails done with decorative England flags and flowers in support of their partners.

Later in the night a delicious looking takeaway arrived for the pals.

But rather tucking into some greasy grub, Fern and Megan opted for some healthy sushi.

The preparations continued this morning as the ladies headed to the salon and treated themselves to matching blow drys.

Fern and Megan will be joining the fellow England WAGs in cheering on the squad as they take on Italy in tonight's historic final at Wembley Stadium.

Earlier in the week, Fern revealed she hasn't been up close and personal with her beau Harry in five weeks due to strict Covid-bubble rules during the tournament.

England have played the majority of their matches on home soil but have not been able to spend any time with their loved ones.

"Getting to the finals makes it all worth while," said Fern. "Bring it home baby." she told her partner.

Fern and Harry have been together for over 10 years after coupling up in June 2011 when the footballer was starting his career at Sheffield United.

Breaking the traditional 'WAG' stigma, Fern boasts brains as well as beauty having a Bachelor's degree in science and physiotherapy, graduating with First Class Honours in 2017.

Jordan Pickford and partner Megan have been together even longer, after they started dating when they were just 14.

Megan even moved to Liverpool with the keeper following his transfer to Everton in 2017.

In February 2019, Megan and Jordan welcomed their first child together, son Arlo George.

A year later, Megan graduated from the University of Sunderland.

Like fellow WAG Fern, Megan has travelled all over the world to support the team and is a familiar face in the stands at England's games.

The WAG sleepover comes after Harry Kane's wife shared an intimate love letter to the captain ahead of tonight's final.

Kate Kane, who has three children with the Tottenham Hotspur star, praised Harry for always believing in his dream as he prepares for the biggest night in English football since 1966.

"Bring it home for the country, you deserve to lift that trophy with this incredible England team!" she told him.

Kate also took to Instagram to show her followers the customised trainers her kids will be sporting today.

The white Nike trainers were decorated with their dad Harry's shirt number and the words 'It's coming home' on them and pictures of lions.

An excited Kate also shared a montage of fans wishing good luck to the squad today and revealed she had 'goosebumps.'
