Harry Maguire injury update issued by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Man Utd boss left to worry

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted Manchester United have a major injury concern over captain Harry Maguire after their win over Aston Villa.

Maguire, who had played every minute for the Red Devils in the Premier League this season, was forced off in the second half at Villa Park.

The England centre-back injured his ankle and, after attempting to play on following treatment, was forced to admit defeat.

It gives United plenty of concern ahead of their upcoming fixture pile-up culminating in the Europa League final against Villarreal.

Maguire is also set for a huge summer leading England into the European Championship meaning the injury could barely have come at a worse time.

Asked about the damage after the game, a worried Solskjaer admitted: "Might be a few weeks, might be a few days."

United were forced to come from behind in the West Midlands after Bertrand Traore's early opener.

A Bruno Fernandes penalty saw them draw level before Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani goals saw them delay rivals Manchester City being crowned Premier League champions.
