Harry Maguire explains how Manchester United have improved

Harry Maguire said Manchester United look like more of a team than they did at the start of the season and believes they are on the road to challenging for Premier League titles in years to come.

After an indifferent start to the season, United have found their form since the turn of the year and were closing in on a Champions League place before football was suspended.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were 11 games unbeaten before the season was brought to a halt due to the coronavirus outbreak.

And Maguire said that this season is part of the club’s rebuilding process.

“I think you can see from the start of the season we look a lot more like a team,” Maguire told Sky Sports on Monday morning.

“You can probably see where we want to be and where we want to head. I knew when I first came to United, and Ole said it is a rebuilding process to get to where we want to be.

“I can see where we are heading and the style he wants to implement on the team. Don’t get me wrong there are still plenty of aspects we need to improve on to get to the top to where we want to be.

“We don’t want to be challenging for this Champions League spot, we want to be challenging for titles.

“We know there is still a lot of improvement to get there. But that is where we feel we are on the right track and I’m sure eventually we will get there.”
