Manchester United have officially completed a deal to sign Bruno Fernandes in the January transfer window.
Fernandes completed his £46.5million move to United on Thursday afternoon, signing a five-and-a-half year contract with the option of an additional year.
United could end up paying €80m (£67.3m) for the 25-year-old, who will become the sixth Portuguese to play for the club, after Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani, Bebe, Joel Pereira and Diogo Dalot.
The official announcement of Fernades' arrival was received extremely well on social media as supporters grow excited by the prospect of watching their new signing in action.
United fans flocked to social media to welcome their new man to Old Trafford and they were joined by club captain Harry Maguire in wishing him well.
