Harry Kane wants Manchester United transfer over Real Madrid move and more rumours

Tottenham captain Harry Kane would rather move to Manchester United than Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window - according to reports.

Kane has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford after admitting he would be open to leaving Spurs in order to win trophies.

United are expected to be in the market for a new striker this summer and Kane's admission saw speculation intensify over a massive move to Manchester.

MEN Sport understand United are realistic about the remote possibility of signing the forward.

Nevertheless, Bleacher Report claim Kane would prefer to remain in England with United than move to Spain to sign with Real Madrid.

Madrid are also believed to be interested in the 26-year-old and want to strengthen their forward line with Luka Jovic struggling in La Liga thus far.

The report adds that United are unlikely to move for Kane this summer as they are prioritising signing Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish.

Elsewhere, reports claim Borussia Dortmund wanted Mason Greenwood as part of a deal that would have seen Sancho move to United.

United are keen to bring the England international back to the Premier League and Sancho is expected to command a fee upwards of £100million.

ESPN claim Dortmund wanted Greenwood included in any deal for their prized asset but United had no intentions of allowing their starlet to leave.

Greenwood signed a new contract with the Reds back in October 2019 and Dortmund understand he will be unavailable during future talks.
