Harry Kane sends a message to Manchester United ahead of Premier League return

Harry Kane has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur's extended break has left him feeling fit and raring to go for the remainder of the season.

Spurs return to Premier League action on June 19, kicking off their return with a crucial fixture against Manchester United at home.

The Friday night clash will be shown live on Sky Sports at 8:15pm but won't be available on free-to-view TV.

Tottenham come into the match four points behind Manchester United, who are three places ahead of them in fifth.

However, a win for Jose Mourinho's side, who are boosted by the return of Kane, Heung-Min Son and Steven Bergwijn, would put them within a point of their rivals, with eight games to go.

Having missed over six months of action since tearing his hamstring on New Year's Day against Southampton.

Kane was nearing a return to action before the three-month stoppage in play but the extended period has allowed him to reach full fitness ahead of a crucial run in.

"It feels like a pre-season, it's been good so far," Kane said at the Paddy Power golf shootout.

"I was doing individual training for a while, I almost got to the stage where I was back with the team and then obviously we had to stay at home.

"It's been a good chance for me to get fit. It's been six months since I last played a game, I haven't done that since I was probably about six-years-old.

"Manchester United first, a Friday night I think it is, so we're going back with a bang."
