Harry Kane scored a game-winning goal from midfield, and Twitter lost its mind

Harry Kane produced a marvelous goal on Sunday.

In stoppage time of a preseason friendly between the Tottenham Hotspurs and Juventus F.C. in Singapore, the striker got the ball on a deflection, and one-touched a shot from midfield over the keeper, Wojciech Szczesny, and into the net. The goal gave the Spurs a 3-2 lead and, eventually, a win.

Kane’s buzzer-beater, even if it came in a preseason match, must have been a reassuring sight after he missed the final months of the Premier League season after suffering an ankle injury in the Champions League quarter-final.

Kane reveled in the ridiculous moment with a celebratory tweet after the game: “Good to be back.”

The rest of Twitter took note of the amazing finish.
