Harry Kane's wife in tears as she pays tribute to her husband ahead of England vs Italy Euro 2020 final

Harry Kane's wife Kate has penned an emotional letter to her England captain husband telling him 'you're making us all proud.'

Affectionately referring to him as 'H' Kate paid tribute to the 'amazing husband and dad' ahead of the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, saying he deserves to 'lift that trophy' following the clash between England and Italy.

Kate, 28, proudly shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her blowing a kiss at a giant poster of her man, their three children and the footballing hero playing with their dog in the garden.

Saying she wasn't 'one to cry easily' Kate urged Spurs star Harry, 27, to 'bring it home for the country.'

Kate wrote movingly to Harry, who has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and City: "H, you know I am not one to cry too easily but I found myself in tears when I started writing down how proud you're making us all and what you're doing for the country.

"I used to laugh at you when we started going out and you'd be round at mine playing penalties with my brother Tom and Seamus the dog, and you'd say you would be England captain one day.

"But that's you - you set yourself a goal and you achieve it and you always said you were going to the Euros to get to the final.'

She continued: 'You're such an amazing husband and dad and the children can't wait to have you home.

"Imagine telling them all about this summer one day when they're a bit older. We all love you so much, Skipper.

"Bring it home for the country, you deserve to lift that trophy with this incredible England team!"

Kate previously shared a picture of herself and her hubby separated by a barrier as they were reunited at Wembley on Wednesday.

She wrote: "Kane you believe it."

The pair are childhood sweethearts who went to school together.

They have three young children, Ivy, Vivienne and Louis.

The couple married in 2019 with Harry saying at the time: "I finally get to marry my best friend".
