Harry Kane is valued at a surprisingly low $90million (£64.7million) amid the news that he has failed to return to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spurs striker has been linked with a move away from north London throughout the summer, with Manchester City emerging as the most likely candidates for his signature.
The likelihood of a move appeared to rise quite dramatically on Monday morning with Kane having failed to report back to the club for pre-season tests.
football.london understands that the England captain was set to return to the club to undertake his COVID-19 test and do blood work ahead of the 2021/22 campaign kicking off in less than two weeks’ time.
He was set to report to the club’s Enfield-based training complex following a recent holiday after his excursions with England at Euro 2020, but failed to show.
football.london understands that others such as Giovani Lo Celso and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have already returned.
However, Kane was not among them as rumours of a move away from Spurs this summer intensifies.
It was reported earlier this summer that Manchester City had lodged a bid in an attempt to acquire his services but Daniel Levy is not keen to sell.
Whilst it remains to be seen at what value the bid to Spurs was, Kane is valued at just $80million-$90million (£57.5million-£64.7million) by CIES Football Observatory - though it's clear that Spurs would be looking for well more than double that to sell the England captain.
Kane only penned a fresh, six-year contract in north London in 2018, a deal that still has three years to run.
He is also fresh off the back of another extremely productive season in the Premier League having plundered 23 goals on route to a third top-flight Golden Boot.
