Here is your Tottenham morning digest for Monday, June 15.
Kane's value tumbles
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s value has plummeted by €37million (£33.2million) since January, according to a CIES Football Observatory report.
Kane has spent almost the entirety of 2020 on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury suffered against Southampton on New Year's Day and the fact football has been suspended since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
At the start of the year, the England captain was valued by CIES at €155.2m. But his lack of action in recent months has seen that figure drop to €118.7million.
So could Jose Mourinho and Tottenham consider the unthinkable and cash in on their homegrown star?
Spurs showed last year they could survive - and even thrive - without their number 10.
What Spurs learned from Norwich defeat
Much has been made of the aftermath of Tottenham Hotspur's friendly match against Norwich City but Jose Mourinho will have learned things from the game, Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold wrote.
In the wake of the game it has been discovered that one of the Canaries' players tested positive for Covid-19.
Spurs are confident that none of their squad came into close contact with the player - defined by the government as spending 15 minutes or more within two metres of the person.
A large Premier League study found that the average of close contact with one player in a match is 39 seconds.
Whether there was no after-effect of that positive test will be shown by the next round of tests this week, but what else would Mourinho have learned about his players from the friendly?
Spurs make statement
Tottenham have moved to allay fears that they could face a coronavirus crisis at the club after a Norwich City player was found to have tested positive for COVID-19.
Spurs took on the Canaries in a friendly match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday, with Norwich winning 2-1.
But it has since been revealed that a Norwich player, who was involved in the match, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Premier League carry out tests on four days in a week, on Mondays and Tuesday and then again on Thursday and Fridays, with the results announced on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
