Harry Kane reported missing in the Edinburgh area

An alert for a missing cat called Harry Kane has been circulated to people in the Edinburgh area.

Not to be confused with the Spurs striker or England captain, this Harry Kane is a domestic short-haired cat.

Edinburgh residents are being asked to check their garages and sheds for Harry Kane after he went missing at the weekend from his East-Edinburgh address.

He was allowed into the garden by his owner on Saturday at his home on Dudley Avenue in Leith but has not been seen since.

A post on the website Petsreunited.com from April 12 said: “I let him out into the garden. He went exploring and hasn't come back since.”

The two-year-old male is described as a healthy, neutered male with black and white colouring.

His owner said he has a small white mark on his hind leg.

The full description can be seen here along with a missing poster people can share on social media.

Anyone who spots him can leave a comment using the link above or can call on 07967 271874.
