Harry Kane posts injury update to delight Tottenham fans over his expected return

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has taken to social media to provide an update on his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old is out of action until at least April after undergoing surgery on the injury, with Spurs on the lookout for a striker to cover for the goalscorer while he is absent.

Kane picked up the injury during the New Year's Day Premier League game against Southampton, causing him to miss the last three Premier League games.

There is even worries that the striker may not be fit enough to be able to feature in the summer's European Championships for England.

However, posting on his Twitter account, Kane has given a positive injury update as he continues his rehabilitation with the hope of getting back to action before the end of the season.

"Working hard. Making progress," he posted alongside a video of him doing work with a resistance band in the gym.

Speaking on Kane's injury earlier in the month, Jose Mourinho said that he was unsure on his return date.

“News on Harry we don’t have and if you ask me every time we come here the answer will be the same," he said.

"We expect him to be out until, I don’t know, mid-April, end of April, May, next season I don’t know.

"I have no updates to give on Harry.”
